I often get the question about how exactly we came up with the name Thermopylae Sciences & Technology.
The name “Thermopylae” originates from ancient Greece as the site of a historic battle where, as legend goes, 300 Spartans resisted the significantly larger forces of the Persian army — the most powerful military force in the world at the time.
As someone with Greek heritage, the name also carries significant meaning on a personal level. The Battle of Thermopylae is a shining example of how any smaller organization can make tremendous strides and conquer the most seemingly insurmountable challenges.
On another level, we also provide the solutions that enable our customers to succeed, whether on the battlefield or responding to dire humanitarian crises. Many organizations are facing their own “Battle of Thermopylae” and require the right solutions to help them overcome and conquer any challenge.
